2026 Member of the Year

2025-2026 Member of the Year

This award is given to a GCSMPS member who has made the greatest difference to the success, reputation, health and/or function of the chapter in the past year. The award will be presented during the Greater Cincinnati SMPS Annual Meeting in October 2026.


The winner of Member of the Year will receive an award and a $250 scholarship of their choice towards either:

  1. Earning the CPSM certification (if eligible)
  2. Attending Amplify AEC (SMPS National Conference) or an SMPS Regional Conference

Eligibility
Nominee must be:

  • A member of GCSMPS, but not a 2025-2026 GCSMPS Board Member

Judging Criteria and Scoring
Selection shall be based on the following criteria:

  1. Recipient has made significant contributions to the success of GCSMPS over the past 12 months, positively affecting any/all of the following: the chapter’s reputation, health, promotion, initiatives, membership, event attendance, event effectiveness, and committee contributions.
  2. Recipient goes above and beyond their chapter role to ensure the continued success of GCSMPS.
  3. Recipient must be a strong advocate of SMPS both within their firm and the AEC industry.
