Successful professionals must embrace change, even when the outcome is still unknown. During this session, you will learn about the four primary phases associated with change management – denial, resistance, exploration, commitment - and will be introduced to tips for learning not just to survive but to thrive during times of change.

Kara Williams is a mission minded, business strategist with close to 20 years’ experience in communication, marketing, and community development. Kara began her career at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and then spent several years at local advertising and marketing agencies where she developed and implemented marketing plans for Fortune 500s to start-ups with one-person staffs. She then transitioned to the nonprofit sector in 2007 when she took a Vice President position at Vision 2015. During her time with that organization, she conceptualized and implemented Northern Kentucky’s most successful community initiatives. She founded The Marketing Collective in 2015 and now leads a team of talented, experienced, client-focused communication and marketing leaders who serve clients in the professional services, nonprofit/economic development, construction, and technology sectors.
