2024-2025 CPSM Study Group
Join Greater Cincinnati SMPS and SMSP Virginia for a FREE virtual study group to prepare for the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) exam. This event will be led by Kristina von Tish, SMPS Virginia's CPSM Chair. The study group will begin meeting in November 2024 to prepare for the exam in March 2025.

Registration Deadline
Please register before Oct. 31 so you have the opportunity to vote on meeting dates (see schedule below). If you miss the deadline, you will still be able to register and join the study group; however, you will not have a vote on the day/time the group meets. The scheduling poll will open on Oct. 28 and close on Nov. 3.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree + 4 years of experience in marketing or BD within the professional services industry
- Associate’s degree + 6 years of experience in marketing or BD within the professional services industry
- 8 years of experience in marketing or BD within the professional services industry

Examination
- Scheduling the Exam:
- Fill out online application form by Feb. 5, 2025
- Longest lead item: copy of your college transcript or notarized photocopy of your degree (if applicable)
- Wait for Professional Testing Corporation to approve / send Schedule Authorization email
- Schedule exam at a Prometric Testing Center for March 1-22, 2025.
- Note: An additional testing window is available in September; however, Greater Cincinnati SMPS members must apply for testing in March 2025 and pass the exam to qualify for exam fee reimbursement.
- Fill out online application form by Feb. 5, 2025
- Taking the Exam:
- 150 four-option, multiple-choice questions
- You must look for the MOST CORRECT option
- Based on best practices in the industry
- Must get 111/150 questions correct (74%) to pass
- 3-hour testing period
- Notification of results within 4 weeks
CPSM CEU
1 CEU per hour of educational session attended.
